New to this particular forum and thought I should introduce myself. I currently live in the best location in Australia without doubt and that being Cairns. I currently have 2 boats, a 5mtr Quintrex Hornet Throphy for Estuary work and have just recently bought a 5.5mtr Formosa Centre Cab for Bluewater work. Unfortunatly I have to give one up and that is the Quinny which is the for sale section. Hope I can give and receive good information from you all wrt all facets of fishing and boating. I have nearly served 20 years in the Aust Navy and love the Ocean and all it's splendor with fishing being the prize......Cheers....

Some updated pitures of the rig on the water.....Done a few mods since getting and is coming along nicely......

Mod's since purchase as follows:

1. Solas Stainless Prop
2. HDS 5m and HDSx Sounder and plotter
3. Extended the rear awning
4. Installed a CD player/Radio with USB
5. Boxed in the front area for more storage though yet to carpet, maybe this weekend
6. Upgraded the battery and box
7. Installed a water drain fuel filter
8. Installed 4 LED lighting strips with switch panel for night fishing, work a treat.
9. Put 2 extra rod holders in
10. Added some Knife/plier holders
11. Upgraded the Bait tank pump to a larger pump.
12. Named the boat
