Rope going into hull.
Hi folks, I'm a new member. I'm onto my second boat, a 6m plate "Bar Crusher" with a centre consol. There is a piece of flexible pipe coming out of the floor with a piece of rope inside it which is tied off to the boat. I had a jiggle of the rope but only gently because I have no idea what it is. Would anyone know what it might be? Cheers, Leigh.

My Guess is that it is there if you want to run more cables or accessories to the rear of the boat? My center console has the same setup as all my cables run underfloor.

yep, probably a 'pull through' rope
why not call your BC dealer or the guys in Melbourne directly, they should be able to assist
cheers and welcome to the site

Agree with you Craig - give the BC dealer a call to find out. Its sure to be a rope to pull through more cables etc. On the funny side, could be piece of hidden treasure on the end of it previous owners were trying to hide soemthing???

I would reckon the pull through thing is on the money, have a bit of a look around the Motor well/floor area around the very back and I would be thinking the other end will be tied up there.
