Fishing Charter Section

I will often use a fishing charter service when I go on holidays. I find it difficult to get good up to date information on fishing charters in areas I have never been to before. This makes the planning of trips to new places difficult.

The information I use is from advertising, and the charterers web site, however their is no independant information.

I think it would be a good idea for the administrators of this site to look at a area dedicated to reviews, information, pictures etc on fishing charters.

Some of these charters cost a lot of money, so some regular advice would be a good thing.

Problem is a lot of the charter operators will not spend money on advertising on the net. Have tried all sorts of aproaches over the years but to little or no success. I use to give them all heaps of free advertising for about 12 years but stopped that. All I got was complaints from them that I stopped the free advertising, no thanks for the previous 12 years of free advertising and businees they received.

Thanks for your comments. As for advertising on your web site I would certainly be thinking advertisers should pay, charter oprators included.
What I would be interested in is reviews from users who had been on charters and who could post comment, pictures etc.

I use a charter operation at least 2 times a year, and would be happy to post comment on these experiences. I'm about to go on another one out of Cardwell, who I have never used before, so I'm flying blind. I'm hopeful it will all be good, but if it isn't I would like to let others know.

The directories have the ability for people to leave reviews, maybe that scares them.

I find it very hard to find a good charter these days. I will only recommend ones I have been on and have found to be OK. I get asked all the time for recommendations via the enquiry form on the site but sadly I can't recommend any most of the time.
