Around the marina and trawlers. The mangroves opposite the trawlers can also produce bream in places. Beware of the green zones, avoid the southern banks from nudgee creek all the way to the mouth of cabbage tree creek.

I don't know what it's like now but years ago chucking a cooked prawn around the co-op pylons used to do the trick.A lot more trawlers used to work out of there then. There used to be another co-op or something a bit further up the creek when I was a boy.Years later there was still some of the old pylon stumps there. They might still be there, maybe someone whose older than me and lives down there{an old trawler man might be a help} might be able to show you.

i was down there yesterday with a mate walking the bank. using a switch blade i got one nice bream walking around the trawlers.... got the first bream in 5 mins. but then lost the lure the next cast. and the placcys dident produce anything afterwards...
