Hi Greg, she was a bit skinny mate, didn't have my scales with me but estimated weight would be 630 to 650 gr.

Excellent Whiting Youngy! aren't they awesome fish once they get above about 38cm. 43cm is an absoulete cracker! is that your PB? Well done and thanks for sharing the info.

I saw your talk at the Tackle and Tinnie Show and really enjoyed learning more about how to target these big whiting. It was a great talk - very informative and detailed. My wife loves her whiting fishing, so we will put your techniques into practice next time we get a chance.

HI Wayne, apparently the beach drops off from 3 ft to 12 ft all along the suburb of Craignish. Its all sand, no rocks. My mates son runs the local tackle shop, and they tell me I'll see 50-100 boats out there when the whiting are on in winter.

No action yet, but I'll let you know when theyre on. I can see the spot from my house. Worth remembering if your ever up this way.

Might be a nice distraction when jacks season is over.

Hi Matt, thanks mate, when it comes to whiting fishing i am a bit of a fanatic.

That's not my PB, i got a 45cm at the end of last year and like everyone else hope to improve on that in the future. cheers wayne.
