    Custom plastics?

Hey guys, I'm just wondering whether it's possible to maybe change the tails of your plastics to a different colour via cutting the tail of another plastic and replacing the one already on the plastic you wish to use and then super glue it? For example a Squidge fish in Killer Tomato and change the tail to a light green? Would this possibly catch more fish in the long run or no? What do you think?

    Cheers in advance,

    Tom

    Re: Custom plastics?

Hi, I dont think it would really work. The super glue wouldnt be very strong and as soon as a fish hits the plastic I think it would make the joint weak. But I guess you could give it a go and let us know how you go. Goodluck

Guys, there are products you can buy that will colour your plastcis, and scent them if you want.

Spike It make a whole range of dyes that will colour them, and they come in a little bottle or in a felt pen style. Handy.

I've never tried it, but you could maybe have a go with food colouring? See what happens. Try heating the plastic first in warm/hot water. May need to clean it first with a soapy solution. Might not be good from a scent point of view, so you'll need to dose em back up in your Gulp juice or whatever afterwards. Let us know how you go.

    HOT KNIFE !!!!

Graft a new tail onto another plastic

Just get a red hot knife - quickly melt each end on the two pieces to be joined - press them together ( make sure the pieces are a close fit)

    Works a treat !

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

get a Jet lighter, and use it like a blowtorch. Weld the 2 pieces together. Works great for repairing any sps half eaten too.

Dunno why youd want to change em tho, with all the good choices on the shelves already.
