Managed to see the end of creek to coast this arvo featuring Smithy.
Only saw a couple of minutes of Scott Hillier pulling in his marlin. Gee he gets excited
He also had a bit about his new charter boat out of Innisfal.
Anyone else see all the show?

No didn't see the show Mike but have seen Smithy on IFish once. Was a good show getting Paul onto a few cobia's.

I saw it. But didn't have the volume up..... don't ask
They knocked over some striped tuna / mackies and then hit on a small black.
Using skirts on down riggers.
Conditions on the water looked great.

phil, i think you will find the skirts on downrigger was thanks to a bit of editing by a producer with no fishing knowledge. The downrigger was used for live bait but some how ended up looking like skirts were run off it.
