Just for something different, its all changed again. I reckon I will stick with my prediction now. 4 good days at least. Looks like Carnelpya will be able to fish all week at this stage. Depends on the high thats comming throgh around Thursday.

Carbon Really Ain't Pollution.
Well my little petals, the time hs arrived and there are no more sleeps eh? (2 more for me. I will be down Sunday)![]()
See the weather graph from Seabreeze attached, looks like a good week to be had. Choppy enough to keep the fish active and smoothe enough to get out for most.![]()
BEAN, you can appologise for the weather crack at your own leasure mate![]()
I look dforward to seeing you all somewhere abouts over the next week.

Couldnt resist one more for ya.
This is where the weather is meant to be at 10pm Wednesday. If this is correct, we will not have any strong winds at all nor any big seas for the entire week.
Weater broadcasts are every morning on VHF82 at 6.40 am. Mike from BOM is very good.

OK OK 1 last thing and it s reaport for those who like trolling. A marina neighbour and his wife went for a troll yesterday on the 30mtr contour line about 12 mile offshore.
5 hours yielded 2 yellowfin tuna. 1 mack tuna and 1 black marlin.![]()
Ther is a heap of bait around at the moment. Look for the bait, find the big pelagics.

I'm hoping to be up there by 9-10pm tonight. Will pack the pots and a heap of plastics!
If it means we have scared the bad weather off for now I will gladly apologise, but until I get there I am gunna make sure none of you good wishing (head in the clouds) people spoil it again with tall tales of how great the weather is going to be!
The wind has been down around the 5 knot mark consistently for about 5 weeks, who on earth picked this week for us to attend.
Couldn't organise a decent feed of chips some of you blokes!
There, that should do it for now.
Now for the more serious stuff.
We don't get in until midnight Saturday night, so it will be bed down as quick as possible (bank some sleep) and up in the morning arranging boat and gear. Load supplies (food, ice, bait, water, etc) and hope to be at the ramp about midday Sunday ready to head out to Musgrave.
I intend to again plot our safe entry into the lagoon then head out and sound around and have a general fish. We will be taking the advice of a prominent PBA Ausfish member who recommends fishing dawn and dusk for the reds.
So we will fish around Musgraves areas but will be focussing on the early morning and evening sessions.
In between we will be ducking back into the lagoon to refresh, feed up, snooze, snorkel and crap (beware of the remora's if you are thinking of doing your job live in the lagoon, jeez they are quick and they swollow hole).
So, what are others plans at this early stage? Given we will miss the Saturday night discussions.
Oh and while I think of it, from what I read earlier VHF channel 81 is the one we should all listen on when out there with conversations transferring to channel 73, everyone agree?
