I forgot to put my footy tips in, can one of you put me down for all of the winners , still won't catch up.

Well not long to go now people. Seven days for me and I'm off to Birdsville for a 12 day round trip and then up to meet with you rifraf for a great time.
I think the hugs and kisses is starting to get the tomtits with me for going for so long, then that could be to put me off gaurd, and she's probably planning to party while I'm away

I can't get up there for the week this thing is on due to renovations to my store... BUT as of the second last day i'm pushing to get staff to take over for a couple of days so i can get away.

Looking to stay for a week albeit after the M&G and during school hols.

Just thought i would give you an up date on the road from bundaberg to agnes , as i came home that way yesterday.
No problems if worried about towing a large boat .
Only road works at this stage is a detour around 1 bridge, and the section of road between the cane farms that was a little rough has been resurfaced .
Fishing is quite on the outer reefs but the close in grounds are producing well at the moment .

OK, back to the fushin. Well actually the bait. I am aiming to pick them up next week. Here in lie the challenge. Being a total of 165kg, we will struggle to take it all up with us, especially as we will be doing a bit of barra chasing on the way up, so this leave us with a couple of options.

1/ For those in Brisbane, if one of you would like to go for a leisurely drive in the country to Gympie, you can pick yours and other Brisvegasans and take them back with you.

2/ you can pick them up from Mark's place on the way up which is on the highway about 25mins north of Gympie. You could park your car and boat out the front, but you would have walk up his driveway which is about 100m uphill.

3/ I am off work as of tomorrow week, so if one of you are going for a fish after that, I could probably be convinced to bring it down for an invite! and the rest can pick it up from there.

4/ If someone is driving through before Thursday night before the M&G, I could organise to meet you on the highway at Gympie to do the transfer of all the bait for you to take straight up. Everyone can pick it from you up there.

For Newbs and Rob, we can take it up with us if you want, but we wont be there until Sunday. Otherwise, someone who will be there early can take it up.

I am more than happy to work in with you to get you the bait, so if you have another suggestion, please speak up.

I am heading up ( hopefully ) on the Thursday.

I would have a little room in the freezer for about 20 or 30 kgs of bait. maybe more at a squeeze. ??????

We're heading up Friday, will be at Gympie for an early lunch. We can pick up our 35 kg of squid then if that's OK, not sure if we'll have room for more. With an extra car, we can drive up his driveway!
