Ahhh here we go again. Firstly my pessimistic, obviously uneducated friend ( See above, PRACTISE spelt with the S instead of the correct spelling of PRACTICE with a C) I was fishing with the family being myself and the wife + 3 kids. That means, I was the silly bugger doing this and that and more of this and that while I should have been fishing. And that obviously unsuccessful little outing bagged me 26kg of fillets. I will take that sort of failure every trip.
Now how many more sleeps????? I cant wait to stick it up you lot face to face. Much more fun.
Hey, has anyone noticed that unlike other years, nobody has gotten on a high horse this year YET? what a difference a year makes eh? Great to see.
Maybe the knockers of yesteryear and obviously labor voters, have all pi$$ed off to green sites to take away the Coral Sea from us all.
I CAME INTO THIS WORLD KICKING, SCREAMING AND COVERED IN SOMEONE ELSES BLOOD. I HAVE NO PROBLEM GOING OUT THE SAME WAY.

Well, this has to be the ultimate purchase for the Newbs.
    See attached pic.
Broadband 4kw Radar, HDS, 10.4" screen, 1kw Bronze thru hull transducer and Navionics Platinum Map etc etc.
I have been watching the HDS stuff for a while and although it is apparently hard to use, it is awsome gear and "I just had to have it"

I looked to see if it played porn but apparently not.
Bummer eh, now I have to learn how to use the damn stuff.

I would like to say your right Timi but in reallity, I would rather have the Lowrance. The $18000 price tag does help the decision though.

And PHIL, Car sales are down still mate. However the share market did have a little recovery a few weeks back and i did cash a few in. I do believe my workshop needed some "computer electronics" though. Something about asset registers etc etc.
The risk has to be worth something mate.

    Re: Agnes / 1770 M & G 2009. Dates are up.

Here we go again you bunch of "Red neck, banjo pickin, spoon playin, rum drinkin primary school dropouts"

BLACKRAT: Get it together man....collect yourself. Mate if you like to contract salmonella from undercooked chicken wings, then yes, it was fine fare. HOWEVER, having said that, AND THE REASON behind my comment of the "primary school dropouts" above, it has now been proven that the judges, who by the way knew sweet FA about food, CANT COUNT. FACT is, NEWBY WON AGAIN. FICTION, the chicken wings were good. Enough said now go crawl back under your rock

LUCKY PHIL: Your quite right in your comments and thanks for the suggestion.

AIGUTSO: Mate I can find the anchor if you would like to put your hand up to free dive the 48mtrs to get it. I will pay you handsomly to get it by that method. ( I may even contribute to the funeral )

Now back to fishing.....I have joined Peter Pakula's site and had a good chat to him last night on Skype. What a nice fella and of course very educated in all matters fishing. If anyone would like to try a days trolling for blacks out on the shelf (weather permitting) let me know in advance. I will probably launch from Musgrave. Experience in the art of catching the ellusive Marlin would be a help. Apply within.

    OK.

    Bought a decent eski.

    Got a size 7 'chute.

    Reels have been upgraded/serviced.

    Boat's serviced.

    Bearings being done on Sunday.

Got all my tackle in house or on order.

63 sleeps is too friggin' long!!!

Can all comers please send me the following info, so that I can present the VMR up there a list? It will make logging on a lot easier, you will do it by number, they will have the detail.

    I need

    Boat Name
    Rego
    Mobile Phone number
    Boat model, colour, length
    Skipper's name.

ETR, POB and destination you will give on the day.

I will issue you with a log on number "Ausfish ##".

Probably need other stuff, too, but get over it, I'm drunk as a fish .

    Cheers,
