Mud at night on the plastics

Headed out at 4 30 pm after finishing work early. The wind was up at about 15 notts of south east and headed over to see if i could hook up on a red with an offshore knob. After a salt water bath i got to the north anf headed around to the east side for a flick. Nearly no moon and coming onto a high at 8 30 i thought i was at least in for some hits but hardly anything was on that island at all. The water was a bit merky but not oily and there was at least 20 prawn trawlers hitting the area pretty hard. Better luck next time eh. Cheers all

Chief, what were you doing at the harbour? I haven't found any giant Threadies in there. There were a few nice bream to around 30-35cm. I was down there last night gathering some bait. Yeah, the wind did drop off round about 8ish. Then she picked up again a bit before midnight. Was a funny evening for weather.

The pic is a red bullseye. Must have been that time of the year, even fisheries were down at Manly Harbour last night.
