    Pine river flathead???

Where have the big ones gone?? I flicked around my usual spots today despite the wind and only managed 3 first one around 38, second about 18cm and the last at about 41cm. 2 were caught on small gulp banana prawns and the 38cm on a 2inch snapback grub in bloodword colour. I can usually pull at least a 50+ guy out of my spots, but in the past 2 months....nothing?? Can anybody else relate??

Last weekend when my dad and I went out to our flattie spot all we got was babies, but that is a long way from the pine though.

hey snappatrail, you can still pull out some nice 40 plus specimens out of the pine, just need to be in the right place at the right time, where's your 40 plus pine river flatty's??? . Some days it's just not your day and sometimes it is. Still some nice fish, beats catching nothing.....
