Damn, he's just engulfed that mullet. Was the mullet alive when he went in?
Cheers Tom

put in 3 live poddy mullet were about 16cm and they were gone within seconds of touching the water, its great to see howbthey feed, and this is completely different when live prawns go in,
last week the barra left the water about 6 inches to take a prawn i held above it, awesome sight

Thats a great photo, thanks for sharing.

yeah wont touch dead food, only love live prawns, mullet and herring, he keeps me going up the creek for food. great fun

haha, they are a pest when they only eat live, i just stopped feeding mine until he started eating pellets, i was over paying for goldies and missioning it down to the river for some mullet or herring, do you have him brackish or full fresh?
I used to have a couple of them bout the same size. Its hard to imagine how loud they actually feed. Was good though whenever people were over you could throw in some livies and they'd put on a show
yeah he is about 42cm
he has now gone to full fresh

Great to watch fish eating live food in the comfort of your own home hey. I feed the Asian gekko's to my Leopard fish. Awesome watching them "Run" on top of the water and getting nailed. Solves the gekko crap everywhere problem!
