Hi all,
I am heading down to Broughton Is of Port Stephens in Sept for a few nights with my brother. Last trip we did pretty poorly. Was wondering if anyone has fished it before and could help out with some tips for the area. What would we be expecting to target that time of year. We dont want to head out to gibbers or similar as we are in a 4.5 plate cuddy and only have limited fuel. Will be close to Broughton for safety and fuel. We will be live baiting and bottom bashing with maybe a bit of trolling. Neither of us has much experience offshore but want to bag a few more than last time. Any tips would be a great help.
