Re: barra park
A friend of mine went up about a month ago and got a couple of 60cm barra, apart from that it was quiet. The people apparently said it was Unusually quiet though.
So I would say that it wouldn't hurt if nothing else.

Re: barra park
We were there 2 weeks ago, the wife caught one 85 cm barra, they close at 6 and that was when they came on the chew big time. They had a all night fish last friday night. Would have loved to have go just on dark.

Re: barra park
iv been there the last 3 weekends and it had been realy off and on. the arvos are the go. they are still hitting livies but iv been having much more luck on the pellets, its been realy tuff getting them to hit lures but a few have been landed on them. its $35 for the day and $30 for half and $25 for 3 hours. and yes take your own gear, they have rods there but they are verry nasty. if you fish with the pellets, use a main line of about 6lb or 8lb and a verry good qualaity leader in the 10-12lb, they shy off any thing heaver.
