Was wondering if there is any way I can get the green zones superimposed onto my card. Eg- take it to someone who can slip it into a machine and presto?
Cheers Scott

Scott, I imagine that if you know someone with the same mapping as you who has loaded the zones on as routes, then they could load those on to a user card and you could load them on to your unit. Presto.
Brendan
If the zone boundary is straight lines from lat/long co-ordinates you can put a saved route into your plotter using the above data. The route will remain in the plotter memory. It is limited by the number of routes your plotter can store.
The map cards themselves are "write protected".
ROLL TIDE, ROLL.................

G'day
Have you seen honda's post as the sticky in the electronics section?
Dave
Cheers Dave- i have. I'm not very computer literate so was looking for an easy way around it all.
Scott
Scott.
You can also plot circular boundaries eg around flinders reef.
If your plotter will show distance rings just use a zoom level that brings up range rings equal or slightly greater than the radius of the zone and plot around it with consecutive waypoints then join them as a route.. what sort of plotter do you have?
Brendan
Ps I would use a fraction of the waypoints next time!
The EPA zones are now pre-loaded onto TMQ CPLOT v1.2 navigation software for P.C and feature zone entered alarms ect.
Cheers,
J-Man.
Hi Blackened,
TMQ CPLOT is a navigation software program that runs on a P.C.
In laymans terms it makes your computer or laptop into a chart plotter, allowing all your typical chart plotting functions that you would find on a commercial plotter. GPS data is connected via a serial or USB port either from an existing GPS or dedicated GPS antenna. Various other inputs can be connected i.e AIS (automatic identification system) targets can be overlaid on the chart. I will upload some images shortly.
Cheers,
J-Man.
I have a Lowrance Globalmap 4000 Brendan.
Cheers Scott
Mate, what kind of mapping, and what style of card does it take.
Brendan

Where does the TMQ CPLOT data get us who have the Navionics charts or is it likely that it will be used by Fisheries to enforce the imaginary lines on the water.
