    old fishing rod

Hi Guys, i was wondering if anyone could identify this old fishing rod.

It is a 3 piece cane rod with the extended butt like the newer soft plastic rods.

The only information on the rod is "TRITON no3" above this is what i believe to be the rod builders name but i only have the last 5 letters they are "ATSON", any help would be appreciated. cheers wayne.

    Hi Youngy,

The Rodmaker's name is E. G. Watson from Sydney.
He produced some rods under the brands Triton (various No's depending on size)
    and Topline also.
Not sure of dates but around the 50's and early 60's.
    Rgds Dave
