Have had the pots out for the last week or so, generally getting out most days to check and re-bait them.
Would appear the rain has stirred up the muddies, getting a few nice ones !!
Also some nice sandies mixed in with them.
Cheers

G'day
Nice work there. How do you tie the muddies?
Dave
I was going to ask the same question.....
I'm allergic to shell food, hense I have never bothered to chase crabs, prawns etc...
However, my partner loves Mud Crabs and I'm sick of paying for them at the shops!! Might earn a few Brownie points if I started to bring some home with me.![]()

Been a good week so collected the pots on the high tide last night.
Pic shows the deckie holding the spoils. Both came from the one pot, all other pots had plenty of throw backs only.
These crabs were 2 of the best, thick hard shell, plenty of weight and very agressive !!!
Great work there mate. Hope they tasted as good as they look..

Save some for the next Tewantin meeting and I'll be there. What do you think about spanner crabs up at NW this year.
