    Ballina Locals?

A question for anyone who regularly fishes ballina... I'm heading down at easter for the long weekend and am wondering which beaches i am better off soaking a big bait for jew from. Or am i better off spending my time on the north wall? Never fished Ballina before so any hints would be appreciated. Not trying to steal anyones honey holes, just a bit of local knowledge before i get there. Pm if you don't really want to broadcast the info.

i find south wall usually fishes better then north wall you will have to get the ferry across at burns point though south ballina beach also fishes we as well. Hopefully we get some better weather over Easter then right now

Not a Jew expert, usually chase tailor around Ballina every week plus anything else that comes around. I have heard of jewies being caught at Flat Rock and Black Head lately. Baits and softies used. South Wall is generaly better than than North but they both have their day but need a bit of swell. I dont get over to south wall much anymore as i live so close to Black Head. Tailor have been every where lately, just find a headland etc and cast with the wind ie : fish nthn side if a southerly is blowing etc. As far as beaches go Patches is good which is down from the south side of the wall and if you have a fwd you can head down further and find the gutters. Angels beach can be good as well if you dont want to go to sth Ballina.

If you are after jew then fish the South Wall. Catch live Tailor and put them out. If the river is running out then fish off the tip of the south wall (Weather permitting). If the Weather is poor or its a run in tide then fish the Southern side of the south wall.
