    i used to get a lot of the peir on prawns but have never got any bigger then 25-30cm .

    Yeah - that's a putty nose perch and that's about as big as they get.
    Nico - the best of the bream were taken on top of the piles and the small ones all came from the bottom. That's the normal situation in that spot. Once you pull a decent bream off one pylon it's best to move to another one for a while until the fish settle down again.

    hey nico, saw your getting the boat ready on sunday, yeah the pole goes great, someone else with the same boat's done the same thing too lol, scares me a bit tho, i'd be fairly pissed off if it broke the front seat pole hole! might have to upgrade soon....

    i've got one of those putty nose perch things in the cast net b4, used him as a livie and only got a 4 foot eel! ugly looking things hey
