    Townsville Blade Fishers

I've been keeping an eye out for different types of blade lures in the tackle shops up here lately and until today haven't found any that have really caught my interest.

They've been what I would consider too small for anything other than Bream or Flathead, however they'd probably work a treat on Jungle Perch.

The ones I found today were of a better size ( though still pretty small I thought at approx. 40-50mm? ) and the assistant said they sell out fast. There was only one left, in the least popular colour no doubt.

So I'm just asking any "NQ Blade Users" what success they're having using these things. Species, technique, fresh or saltwater use and size 'Blade' you're using?

    Cheers, Andrew

Andrew, Miles Tam did an article in NQ Fish and Boat a couple of months ago about blades. He works for Tackleworld in Domain Central, and is a friendly bloke to talk to.

There's an article coming out in Fishing World next month that showcases all the available blades currently on market here.. I think from memory there were 21 different varieties...

It also shows what sizes they come in and who are the distributors for them...Look out for it, it should help you decide what might be best for you!
