    quick question 4 raymarine c80

    hey our ramarine c80 sometimes says on the sounder screen data connection lost, can somebody tell me why or how 2 fix it.

    Might be worth checking the software.

    Raymarine offer free software updates on their website.

    These updates often rectify issues that have been discovered in the field.

    Check the connections to the DSM 300.

    Make sure the wiring is heavy enough, all the way from the power source.

    6mm minimum.

    The DSM 300's are sensitive to low voltage, which could also mean a battery starting to fail.

    It could also be a faulty DSM 300, although only ever had one of these.
