cape morton saturday
left scarbrough at 5ish headed to the cape with the missus it bumpy on the way there but not too bad ......1st drop onto a undersized cod and the missus got a small squire......next couple of hours got heaps of cod,red throat and small huser..then as we read on here all the time the missus hooks up onto something big turned out to be a wrasse 62 cm long and guessing but prob 3 - 4 kilo mark... ...moved to another spot to get a couple of just legal husser then headed in..back at 10.30....caught all the fsh on fresh mullet fillets...didnt loose one piece of squid.....cheers rosco

We were out there today too Rosco. The fish were hard to find alright. Just under red throats, couple of good hits on placcies and not much else. The dpi survey bloke back at the ramp said he had only measured one snapper in the hour before we got back so it would appear not allot was caught. Might stay inside the bay and fish Peel or Mud next time....
