Hey Scott, good idea but don't they have an exposed element? I would think that the cooked crab juices would get into the element and pong like bugery.
Pete.
Well....??
I had a brain wave this morning looking at the pile of crabs JustJack caught http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/sho...d.php?t=145872
And it hit me like a whack to the nose for forgetting to feed the cook's horses...why not use an old fish and chip shop gas fired deep fryer??
...but with water in it not 20l of canola oil.
So would they work or be a failure and only good for cooking flake fillets and chips??
Cheers Scott
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Opps my bad, should work a treat then.

It would certainly have the herbs to get the water back up to the boil.
Is there any thermoststic control...If so will it function low enough for water.
I supose crab cooking is pretty quick particularly sandies....you'd just ride it shot gun.
cheers
Its the details, those little details, that make the difference.
