Reply With QuoteLived there for six odd years and can tell you the fishing was great. Trolling on any of deep banks and flicking lures at any bit of timber you see produced the goods. Always used the nilsmaster lures myself, you just cant miss. I remember one of the islands had a rock just off it called pelican rock (not sure if thats what its really called however) and the local pro would set his net between it and the island right up against the rock. The few times I was with him and he was checking his net it was always loaded with big barra and various other fish. Good luck with the trip as this post is more than likely not much help. Got to be in the right place at the right time and pray the gods are smiling, still better than working but.
