went for a fish sunday arvo with my fiancee with some livies and some fresh yabbies , headed to nerang river somewhere. Fiancee was using yabbies while I had livie on a float. She was getting a few hits but no hook ups , while my livies were getting hit but no hook ups so I thought ok Ill hook through the tail instead of nose. So while rehooking her rig as my livie was inactive , she looks for my float which by now was under so I said pull it! After a good fight a nice healthy 50cm flathead came up so technically its her fish which is great cause now shes keen to get a jack.

Noice little bit of under water structure your fishing there mate, judging by the water surface in that first pic, a jack or cod certainly looks promising!
