What's your perfect estuary "flick stick"?

    Hi all,

I'm shopping around for another 7 foot 2 inch (ish) 1 piece 2-4kg estuary / bass rod for flicking lures. I've currently got a Shimano Raider (I) bream finesse, Ian Miller designed rod which I like, but I'm keen to know what people would recommend as a better alternative. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

Starlo Tournament Lite Spin 2-4kg is a good 1 piece seven foot rod for under $200.

If you are willing to open the shoulders then definately go the Egrell S2.

teamdaiwa saltwater 661 hfs 12-20lb for flicking at anything in a creek.
had a teamdaiwa advantage but took it back after the butt cap fell off & the epoxy around the top of the reel seat came off & the ring that sits on top of the top grip fell off & epoxy lifted off 1 of the guides, they swaped it for the saltwater & no prob's yet.

If you can find the previous model Litespin ( Ti SiC guides) - there are few rods under $350 that can match it - One very good rod ( IMHO)

My favourite atm would be a EXS701ULBA Finesse Elite matched up with a Daiwa steez 2500,not the cheapest setup I know but oh so good.
