Hervey Bay Accommodation

Hi all
We are now off to hervey Bay and not Monduran so could someone give us any idea of what the harbour View caravan park is like. We booked a cabin for 3 Adults but i can;t find any photos of the park or the cabins/villas etc.

Can someone give me some info.

We stayed at the Harbour View in May last year and its location is excellant for the fishing side of things. 100 yards to the ramp and fuel shop right accross the road from the Boat Club. The cabins are out dated and very basic but if its only a place to eat sleep and have a shower when your not fishing its fine. They also have full fish cleaning tables and facilities onsite which is very handy.

I'd stay there again though simply because of its location.

There is a shower and toilet in them???
Do you have any pics????. I like abit of room and do they have somewhere outside to sit of an evening. What did yo take with you -- barbie,blankets etc.
THe woman on the phone must of been in a hurry when i rang as she didn't give me much info.

You are looking at 2 to 2.5 star rating at that park. Was good in it's day but not now.

Happy Wanderer has A1 facilities. powered tent sites, cabins, down the back theres a designated boat wash bay with fish cleaning table.

Well looked after grounds, full shower toilets camp kitchen, TV room, barbies. Plenty of room to move and very nice hosts

Yeah it has all the basics like toilet, shower kitchenette and the like. It suited my mate and I as we are young keen fishos not really chasing the finer things. Have stayed and the Wanderer and is does have better facilities.
