hope the cats arn't too fussy about what they eat........................................ thats all carp are good for.....or fertilizer.....

Don't know about the size as it was quite a while ago I caught my stonker carp, but it weighed 12lb... did you grab a weight for that fat fella?

Not enough time in the day, to many spots to fish!
didnt weigh him but he was a good 8kg atleast, caught a few 6kg adn 7 kg carp and he was much larger, mostly in fat and weight rather than length.
Hooked on a lure that one whilst bass fishing and yes whilst good for nothing they are great fun!
No catch and release for a carp..........use good handcleaner after mucking around with em....damn they stink !!!!!!!!!

They make good crab bait. I have been told that if you smoke them they taste like ham ???????????????????

Much as they are a noxious pest, carp are what got me into fishing at about 13.
We used to catch monsters like that behind Parramatta Jail.
That is a pretty huge one and would have gone well on bass gear
