Monduran had about 84mm of rain yesterday and the dam capacity increased by 1% to 34% (water level up about 7cm as at 6.00am this morning). Inflows are continuing and more rain is forecast on Friday.
Similarly Awoonga had 139mm of rain yesterday and the dam capacity went up about 2% to 51.69% (water level up by about 21cm as at 8.00am this morning). Inflows are continuing here also and both areas have had light rain today....
Peter,
Where are you getting this information from? Sounds very accurate and would love to be able to keep an eye on it myself.
Thanks,
Phill
All I want is to catch MORE legal fish!
A number of websites, Phill.
GAWB (Gladstone Area Water Board) has details of Awoonga capacity. Sunwater does the same for Monduran.
Rainfalls comes from Elders Weather that give a daily update as well as an accurate 7-day forecast and a 28-day anticipated rainfall outlook.
Dam level increases come from BOM (Bureau of Meterology). Go to Qld page, then click on all Queensland Observations. Scroll down and click on Qld Maps of Rainfall and River Heights.
A map of Qld comes up and you need to click River Conditions from the right hand menu. Then simply drill down to what you want by clicking on the area, then the exact location of any river or dam........
Hope this helps
