Hi Beau,

I have the exact boat you are looking for I have owned a 5m Noble (platy) for over two years now, I think you are right on the money with that size boat I have fished every were from the Banks, Fraser, Double Island and off the Gold Coast and most water way’s in-between. The safety and strength make them a very capable offshore fishing boat with having the easy ability to be used solo and very cheap to run. I can recommend the Nobles also I would rate Rebel very highly in that range of boats.

The only down side is that they are quite wet in some conditions like most open boats are good luck with your new project.

Looks excellent but not cheap I suspect. Of course it is wet...all 5 m boats are wet if you fish in medium weather or worse... great looking rig. What motor..? cant quite see.

Iv also been looking at Jopalo boats which are located at Yamba they look very nice too, iv seen one of their 5m barra buster tiller boats in person and the build quality was amazing.
