Gday All
Just bought a new rig 2 weeks ago, Its a Polycraft 4.1 sc, with zuki 50/4stroke
Im on holidays for 2 weeks and was hoping if we got a good day i could pop outside for a fish,
First thing i dont have a GPS, only a depthsounder/fishfinder,
will have all the other safety gear and compass, Not looking to go past the the 2 Naut mile mark,
wondering if any one can point me into a general direction?
cheers

Re: Offshore Spots at coffs harbour!
Hey zooter,
i could tell ya but i'd have to kill ya, just findem on the drop offs around mutton bird or south solitary, most people drive right past some really good inclose ground. Make sure you know the marine park areas though it would put a downer on a maiden with a fine etc.
i had another go today magic out there but couldn't get past the kingies all rats and no macs.

Hey Zooter,
like big said there is plenty of ground aroung Pig Island and Muttonbird Island and a little further straight out of the Harbour (due East) 1.5-3.5ks is Bullocky Shoals where there is some really nice ground you will find it easy with your sounder.
Good luck

Zooter, good tips there from Rob, going east to Bullocky, line the end of the jetty up with the s/e corner of Muttonbird and just keep going till u find it, comes up to about 8mts.
Bait ground off North wall beach, look for the other boats, and some nice reef and gravel out the front of Macqauly's headland.
Hey Rob, nice to see another Coffs lad on the site.
Cheer's Pete.
