I went to Bellerive Bluff last night. Arrived around 6pm to half metre to metre swell with an outgoing tide. There were a few gulls around close to shore so I was hoping a few sambos were schooling. I threw out the Spanyo slice covering around the bluff area without any hits at all, even through the seagulls were still working the water. After 20 mins of covering the bluff without any hits I changed to a soft plastic Nuclear Chicken on a Nitro. Covering a bit closer to shore, I worked the plastic over a few rocks and got a few hits but I wasn’t able to get hooked up. After another 20-30minutes I tried putting out my new DevilFisk Vibe. After working the shore and no hits changed to the ol faithfull Pumkinseed and hooked a decent sized Flatchap 35cm. Few other fishos were out using bait and one with a sliver slice without any luck.
