Looking at entering the fishing comp - http://www.couranpoint.com.au/fishing.htm am just wondering about secure parking / launching..
Does anyone know the best place to leave the car / trailer for the 2 nights as looking at heading down Friday and returning Sunday.

i fish this area alot and we usually launch from paradise point boat ramp, left our cars and trailers there quite a few times and never had a problem,just make sure you get there early fills up quickly and council will book you if you park where your not suppose to, the pr*#ks are always there,and we always reverse our trailers in the parking spot just makes it a little harder if someone is trying to nick your trailer, hard up against the gutter, cheers bennykenny
P.S just read the rules of the tourny,must say its a bit steep that they can cancel the event due to the weather and you dont get a refund at all, i would be really pissed if that happened to me.

Rudy Maas..leave mine there for 2 weeks at Xmas and never a problem.
