Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Classic Tournament
Hi all,
Well its that time of year again. I thought I would put up a quick post for any one who may be interested in fishing our clubs "classic".
The tournament is being held from the 5th-8th of Feb (the weekend after next).
As normal the Tournament is being run from the Kawana Waters Hotel and is both a light and heavy tackle tournament.
The fishing here over the past few weeks has been great and there was plenty of small Blacks caught out here over the Australia Day weekend.
If any one is interested or wants more details please send me a Pm.
Cheers.
Jeff Oates

Re: Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Classic Tournament
For all you Ausfishers that fished the Redcliffe Billfish Challenge, and joined the MBBC club on the registration night, you are eligible to fish the Sunshine Coast tournament as you are now also a member of QGFA. All you need to do now is pay your entry fee. This is a well run tournament, and you will see many familiar faces and boats from the Redcliffe Tournament, plus meet many more fellow Gamefishers. Give it a shot...you will have a ball.
Cheers

I'm a starter with a new rockstar crew.
Is there a car up for first prize?

Re: Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Classic Tournament
Shane the cost is $185 this year.
Get out, i wish we could track down a sponsor that would give us a car!! We have 42 sponsors this year so there will be heaps of great prizes to walk away with if your lucky/good enough.

Thanks Jeff;
We had a ball at the Redcliffe tournament (our first attempt) even though the fish didn't play the game for us. When is the latest one can enter? I have the boat in for a couple of mods and am not 100% sure when I'll get her back.

Re: Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Classic Tournament
You have to be a member of either qgfa or igfa to fish most gamefishing comps.
You will be able to join the sunshine coast club on the briefing nite.
Cheers Troy
