are the sandies still running around the northern bay?

I haven't been out for a while, and haven't seen many recent posts - just curious if people are still getting on to good crab

been getting a lot of undersized ones in the pots at the pine mouth. not many keeper

In Sunday's paper they said sandies at Redcliffe.... I was getting some there at christmas but have not tried since.

They were pretty slow at Bribie today. I put the pots down at the mouth of the passage at 5.00 a.m. and checked them twice over the next four hours. Got 3 keepers and about 8 undersize and jennies. Moved them up to just north of the mouth of Ningi Creek and gave them another 3 hours. Got about 15 unders and jennies but no more keepers. Not the best day ever!
