I have been passing on some methods and tools of trade to a young fella that works at the servo around the corner from work of late as he is mad keen to get into them.
I have promised to take him out but we have not been able to organise it as yet, guess he must have got sick of waiting for me so he got himself geared up and had a run by himself over the weekend.

The picture message came through on Sunday arvo, bugga me he nailed a 64.

Dropped in to congratulate him this morning and he was still smiling, I mentioned on the way out what my preferred beverage was.

Wow, nice way to break himself in lol. I've never caught or really targeted Jack's but I'd be bloody stoked with that size fish. It definately is a good feeling when you get someone onto their first fish. Well done!!

Thats just not right, jack fishos should be eternally frustrated......you better tell him that 64s a small one, that they are easy, and we want one like that every week now.
