    Deck Winches

Hey guys looking for options and best ways to fix a deckwinch to my boat. Been railmount and flushmount options im wondering the advantages/disadvantages to both options. Heres a pic of what im trying to fix to. Reefking or reefqueens are the best winch instead of the singlehandled winch ive found. Thanks for any input. Dean.

    Hi Dean,
This is how mine is mounted. Instead of welds, you should be able to get one made up to bolt through your gunnel with a heavy backing plate on the underside. It will clear your grab rail but will be able to be removed easily.

    ROLL TIDE, ROLL.................

    Regards,

hey dean reef kings and queens only come as pin mount and will require adaptors i run 2 reef queens i have found you can get more over the winch to get into the fish the kings are just to big in my opinion,

if you were to rail mount you just need to make sure they are well fastened cause when that winch loads up it takes a force on the mount in my opinion flush mounting is better but not exactly sure what options you have to mount the winch.

    cheers justin

Ring me mate!!! It's tricky and you need to custom make a bracket!
