    Question north straddy accom

G`day guys, just planin a week on north sraddy and was wonderin if anyone could recomend a house to rent with room for a decent size boat that would be a resonable distance from the ramp and also any recomenations as to which ramp to use. Any other tips would be appreciated as we have never been there before.

    Gday Edmo

If you go to the Straddie Sales and Rentals website http://www.straddiesalesrentals.com.au/ you will find plenty of places for rent. Amity Point is the best place to put your boat in to access most areas of the bay and outside as well. You will find most places to rent here have off street parking for boats and the like and as long as you pick a place that is not waterfront the prices are pretty reasonable.

Have fun . I get to Amity a fair bit.

Just watch the ramp. It flattens out fairly quickly.

A couple of hours each side of low and and you have to drag the boat to the trailer.
Unless you like washing the undercarraige of the tow vehicle in salt water.

My dictionary defines green as ‘unripe, immature, undeveloped'. Perfect description.

Most political parties are seen as interested in what the voters think, the Greens are seen as thinking the community should be interested in what they think.
