went out last night and caught my second eveer Jack and what a whopper 52 cm and 2.2kg. a wonderful way to christen the new outfit...6-12lb G.Loomis with a 2500 Daiwa Sol. we alscaught a38cm one. have to love the Noosa river at the moment, it's teeming with fish such a healthy system.

ha only one head each.......it was up the river a bit; near the ferry. was a good night caught 8 or so nice bream and 3 little cod; they all went back. except the Jack thats for dinner tonight.

Im going to Noosa tonight and stay on the river and will chase them over the weekend. Its been rather warm, so might be a chance i hook one up.

Nice work Bud, do u find the Gar want to stay up on the surface? found that with them and herring, need to add a little weight, mullet on the other hand are that stupid they swim down and into the snag.

Cheers Pete, yeah we put a small pea sinker about a foot from the Gar. seems to do the trick
