    Strudwick sicstik 1-3 kilo

    Hi guys,
Im looking at purchasing a strudwick sickstik in the 1-3 kilo line class and 7ft in length
Going to be matching the rod with a TD tierra 1500 size
Ill be intending to use it for chasing bream, flatties, small tailor, small salmon ,whiting and all the other bread and butter species.
oes anyone have any feedback on thisrod,

    Cheers

I have one of these teamed up with a symetre 1500 and its a real neat little rod, very good for flicking the lighter lures and plastics. I would recomend!

I had one. Snapped the end off it casting a lure.
Lure was within rods rating and after much time on the internet I found it's very common with strudwicks.

Of course warranty was out of the question. "Must have tried to cast something beyond rods rating" and I couldn't prove them wrong.

Do plenty of searching on the internet before making your decision. Wished I had, they're not cheap.

Exact same thing happened to my sicstik pro. Tried to get warranty & was refused, lucky the guys where i bought it offered to cover the rod & gave me a store credit to spend on another rod. Ended up getting a tcurve & never looked back.
