    75-80 bream all on lures

Me and 2 other mates headed out 5.30am -8pm on the nelson river only to be told fish were off the bite.we notice every won fishing in the channel so we tried the shallows first cast was weed after weed.
Then We change a few lures and the rest was history we keep 6 fish for the hole day we found that thay were feeding in .5 -1 foot of water min koto couldnt keep up wind was so strong had to put a parrashoot out to slow us down..
We had a few boys following us around but they didn't do any good.

Then when we got back to the boat ramp one guy that just fishes plastics and in comps said you wont cach anything today on thous lures.tippicall no all .........so told him nothing......

had a great day best fun had in long time... O one jewy for day

The Stiffy's are pritty good had to hold rod up high and very small twitches and keep line tight as they would smash them on the pause.the fake bait is buy far the best shallow lure it rolls on its side like a wounded bait.and u can sneek it over logs in the water very slow with little movment great action.......
