Whats my tinny worth?? :S

Gidday all, I'm thinking about selling my tinny, Ive got no idea what its worth,.

A mate of mine has offerd me a sum., but i dunno if i'm getting shorted

its a 2003 seajay 4.75 magnum,
mid 90's 40hp yam, tiller steer,
3/4 floor,
5" colour navman sounder,
hand held gps,
standard safty gear, Will prob keep the 406 epirb
2 fueltanks,
big plastic eskie fixed too the floor,
Little cubbyhouse for a new 27mhz and am/fm radio, both GME
Rails around the back,
front has been sectioned off with ally sheet too hide the safty gear and some tackel,
Removeable baitboard,
Seats have been trimed up, nice and padded,
etc etc etc spent a fortune,
all in good nic,

trailer is pritty good, has 15" falcon alloys, new hubs/bearings/bearing buddys, etc





How much should i be asking??

mate I have the seajay 4.45, pretty much the same kit as yours.

40 Yam

GPS & Sounder

Full floor with casting deck

All nav and internal lighting

All safety gear

Built in Live bait tank

Tiller steer with side consol

All in really good nic

I was thinking after I posted, yours would poss b worth a bit more than mine, they r a great hull, u up grading? seems a shame to sell it.

I'd like too upgrade, But looks like im being forced into upgrading into a house!

I can afford what ive got now, but i'd like something with a bit newer motor, something a bit quieter and better for draging pillies, Not sure if its worth repowering what ive got already, I'd want a 50-60hp 4stroke, maybe a bit heavy?

The hull is nice, gets a bit wet if the wind is going the wrong way!

Dad's got a real nice 4.75 center console, has all the fruit, more suited too the fishing i do, I'm hoping i can bludge that off him if i sell my boat!.
