first jack for '09' ans a new pb

hi all heres my first jack for 2009. he went 42cm and beats my old mark of 33cm (not huge but still a jack) pulled him off a snag on my 2-4kg shimano raider and 2500symetre with 10lb braid and 12lb leader. single 2/0 owner live bait hook through a slab of mullet. was lucky with the first run as he took off away from the snag but further on in the fight he did manage to do me on a snag in the maddle i didnt no about. 5secs of slack line saw him swim out tho and i got him top the bank . caught at about 6pm about 2 hours after the run in began.

Nice work on your first jack. I am just trying to pull my first in a local creek with livies and no luck yet. There in there i just need to be patient.

42cm gotta be happy with that mate. I've never fished for jacks but I plan to eventually. I really feel like catching a nice one. anyway mate thanks for sharing.
