    Exclamation Depress latch - Can it replace?

    I have Humminbird Wide vision about 8-9 years old and has damaged internal deprss latch see pic's for clarity...
    I doubt about part avaliable and interesting to find out if you know anybody repair or shop sell spare part?
    Unit is still working but can't hold when boating on rough water

    Have you called humminbird? Chances are it may be a write off with the cost of a repair, but who knows?

    mate you could try a very thin bead of supa-glue, and cover with silastic for water proofing.That is if you get no joy from hummingbird

    Not yet and I'll look up in yellow pages or website later...
    I was doubt about the repair cost and worth to find out...

    I'll have a gander down in the dungeon later. I used to have one of those but I cannot really remember if someone else needed it or not.
    It was a wide one but the catches are the same
    I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
