Good day all
I just looking for some advice or help.
On my boat every time i transmit on vhf i got bad interference on sounder when i receive no problem .
so i manly staying quiet on radio
I just wondering would any one had same problem or if any one my give some advice how to fix it
* radio is on separate earth and separate power different fuses from sounder
* no interference on sounder when i starting engine at all
* sounder is furuno 600 i
*vhf is GME
*sounder reads at any speed and dose not have any interference
* on back sounder got some round blocks on power and transducer cable
Use a spare battery and connect the sounder up only to it- any small motorcycle battery ofr from the car is miles good enough. Determin if it is va the electrics or via the cables or is a tranmittion interference from the aerial.
Coiled aerial leads and power leads or tranducer leads should all be separated and run on oppisite sides of boats if posible
