    G'day

Transducer plugged in right? no cuts/nicks out of the cable, corrosion on the pins, is it in the water?

    Hi
I checked the cables on the unit no corrosion and plugged in.

The cables are tucked up out of the way and no cuts or nicks that I can see.

I have noticed a salt like build up near the paddle wheel.

    G'day

On the transducer, the top half of it will come away, allowing you to clean out and service the area around the paddle wheel. There's a tab you need to push in on the forward top side of the paddle wheel. This will not be your problem by the way.

Have you tried a factory reset? Failing this, a call to raymarine service dept. is in order

Where are you located? I have the same sounder and could plug your unit into my cables if needed
