Re: Land Based Berley Dispensing Tactics
how long does it take for you guys to freeze your berley? I've put a 3l milk bottle off the stuff into my freezer and it doesn't freeze after 5/6 hours.
Probably around half full.
Maybe i just need more water?

My dad used to keep his old bait, mostly beach worms and grind them up with chook pellets and sand. he had a few tennis balls with 1/4" holes drilled in them, about 5 to 6 holes.. he would push the mix into this, and freeze it.
Make sure you have some string line or similar and a decent cable tie.. push the cable tie thru the holes in the tennis ball, until you can make a loop. Tie the string line on, and cast the ball into the water.. obviously tie the other end to something like your rod holder or a rock..
After about 45 minutes, pull the string in and see if you need to replace it. If you buy 3 or 4 tennis balls from crazy clarks, you should have plenty
* This was mainly for beach fishing mind you *
