awesome fish, great to hear of the thrill of a first surface strike, bring memories back of mine. We ventured through the woods on foot about 10:30 after the salt had failed us, found some good ground but no fish. a bit too late i think...

Nice fish al-right. Good work. Cheers, Darren.
Hey Leigh,
What a session - great work!
Which ramp did you launch from?
Yeah, I guess they really should put a sign near the ramp. Like I said, I went there probably 18 months ago and only used the electric but still had the petrol on. But there was nobody there to tell me different anyway and after driving that far I would have gone out anyway (not that I flagrently break rules like that).

Hey Leigh, I've been away from the computer for a while and just read your report.
Love it, so cool to get a little person onto their first bass. But your girl has past that mark already and has started getting them on the surface...BRILLIANT.
Great to see a family man sharing with his youngsters.
Congratulations Kala...that's a heck of a fish !
Thanks for the comments guys...it certainly was a great moment. But 43cm isnt her P.B. That's a cracking 48cm! So hopefully this season she will join the 50+ club...because that's pretty much the only way of bettering her P.B
Leigh.
what a great read, pround as punch dad i bet, looking forward to hearing if she breaks the 50
If i could get paid the same to fish, sorry boss but i ......!
