    first fish 4 months

    finally got out again. went out to spot x at margate today. 3 snaps. 44cm, 43cm,59cm. plus 6 crabs.
    blew up about 8.30. home by 9.30.

    Nice one, i'd be happy with that effort. I ran over to Mud yesterday, but then that wind came up so headed back home. Stopped near reddie and had a bit of a sound around near the south reef beacon. Very keen to learn the redcliffe area.

    If you dont mind me asking... what depth are you fishing in that area ?

    hi shane.
    havnt tried that sand crab spot yet, but will do soon.
    i got 6 just out from woody point.
    yeah i always seem to get a couple out front margate.
    just a rubble bottom.
    there always seems to be few bait fish around there.
    lots of prawns out there on sat morn.
